High Commissioner Constantin Dabire Mobilizes Bagre’s Vital Forces for Faso Mªbo Initiative

Boulgou: The High Commissioner of the Boulgou province, Dom¨gb¨gui¨re Constantin Dabire, presided on Wednesday in Bagre over a meeting of exchanges with the vital forces of the commune to mobilize the populations around the presidential initiative 'Faso Mªbo'. This activity is part of an awareness-raising and citizen contribution collection tour to support this national dynamic of solidarity and participation in development.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting brought together several administrative and municipal authorities, including the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Bagre, the Secretary General of the town hall, the Head of Mission of the Nakambe region, as well as representatives of the regional coordination of the Faso Mªbo agency. The High Commissioner commended the municipality's commitment to the "Dªmª Sira" campaign. The first presentation focused on the report on the contribution of the Bagre municipality to the national "Dªmª Sira" campaign. Presented by the President of the Bagre Special Delegation, this point allowed for an assessment of the population's commitment to this national solidarity initiative.

On this occasion, High Commissioner Constantin Dabire commended the involvement of local stakeholders and encouraged the population to maintain this momentum of citizen participation to support the development initiatives undertaken by national authorities. This mobilization is centered around the presidential initiative "Faso Mªbo."

The second item on the agenda was a presentation on the presidential initiative "Faso Mªbo" in the Nakambe region. The presentation was given by Warrant Officer Kanazoe, deputy to the regional coordinator of Faso Mªbo in Nakambe, in collaboration with the President of Burkina Faso's representative for the region. The speakers explained the objectives of this initiative, which aims to encourage the collective contribution of citizens to national development efforts through concrete acts of solidarity.

Following the discussions, the High Commissioner launched a collection of voluntary contributions from the participants. This initial effort raised 73,700 FCFA, a gesture welcomed by the authorities as a sign of support from Bagre's key stakeholders for the presidential initiative. Continuing their activities, the President of the Special Delegation led the delegation to Radio Bagrep´le for a special awareness-raising broadcast. This media appearance aimed to inform a wider audience about the importance of the Faso Mªbo initiative and to encourage citizen participation.

The collection of voluntary contributions will continue in the municipality from March 11 to April 30, 2026, at the end of which an initial assessment of the mobilization will be conducted. Through this awareness tour, High Commissioner Constantin Dabire intends to strengthen the support of the people of Boulgou for the national dynamic of solidarity and development championed by the presidential Faso Mªbo initiative.
