Bobo-dioulasso: A large motorcycle parade was held on Friday, December 5, 2025, in Bobo-Dioulasso to raise awareness about wearing helmets. The event was part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Municipal Police.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the starting signal was given in front of the town hall by the First Vice-President, Moussa SANOU, representing the President of the Special Municipal Delegation. The caravan traveled through the city's main thoroughfares, mobilizing professional motorcyclists, security forces, and civilians.

For the Director General of the Municipal Police, Saydou COULBALY, this initiative is a civic appeal to respect the traffic code and exercise caution, given the increase in accidents at the end of the year.
