Dan:Kndougou Young residents of Dan village in the Kourinion commune have celebrated the inauguration of a new roundabout, a project achieved through community mobilization reflecting the spirit of social cohesion and the Popular Progressive Revolution (PPR).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place on Friday, October 9, 2026, and was led by Oumar Coulibaly, a representative of the Kourinion Special Delegation (PDS) and head of the Youth Promotion and Professional Integration Service. During the ceremony, Soungalo Kon, president of the Dan youth association, commended the financial contributions and active involvement of the local community. He urged them to continue this spirit of solidarity to uphold the ideals of the People's Progressive Revolution.

Oumar Coulibaly congratulated the project initiators and expressed gratitude to the villagers for their support. He hoped the roundabout would serve as a space for dialogue and community gatherings, fostering stronger social cohesion and contributing to the village's development. The roundabout was officially inaugurated amid applause, and the event included artistic performances.
