Islamic Associations Lead Cleanup at Bati Medical Center

Bati:Islamic associations gathered on Saturday to clean the largest medical center in the province as part of the 2nd phase of the 3rd edition of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, members of these associations arrived in large numbers to fulfill their commitments. Equipped with machetes, hoes, and rakes, they cleaned the courtyard of the medical center, supported by defense and security forces, as well as local authorities who expressed their appreciation.

The cleanup not only aimed to beautify the area but also to remove overgrown grass and waste that could encourage mosquito breeding. Abdoul Karim Yabr, one of the participants, emphasized the duty to respond to the authorities' call, highlighting the religious rewards associated with such actions.

Drissa Hema, the province's High Commissioner, praised the participants and reiterated the importance of local production and consumption. He encouraged further involvement in making bricks for the medical center's fence as part of the Faso Mêbo initiative.
