Ouagadougou: The Youth of the Assemblies of God Church (JAD) of Manga launched its 2026-2029 term activities on Sunday around the theme: 'Youth on Fire for Christ', defining six priorities intended to strengthen the Church's influence and its impact within the community. The launch ceremony, held in the presence of national and regional ecclesiastical authorities, marks the beginning of a new dynamic focused on spiritual engagement and the mobilization of Christian youth.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the JAD branch in Manga Centre, Eli Kabor, presented the six priority areas that will guide the movement's actions during this term. These are: encouraging spiritual revival, strengthening biblical training, mobilizing youth for evangelism, organizing camps and conferences, promoting solidarity, and training a new generation of enterprising young leaders.

On this occasion, Mr. Kabor invited young Christians to fully commit to implementing these priorities. "Young people who are not guided by the Holy Spirit can easily go astray," he declared, urging the faithful to remain attached to Christian values.

For the regional president of JAD, Pastor Pierre Yabr, the choice of theme aims to revive "the ardent desire to see a generation of young people profoundly transformed by the Holy Spirit and committed to serving faithfully in the Church and in society." According to him, this orientation responds to a certain lethargy observed in several churches, both on a disciplinary and spiritual level.

The religious leader indicated that the planned actions aim in particular to strengthen the faith of young people through prayer and reading the Word of God, to promote the sanctification of behaviors and to intensify the proclamation of the Gospel in order to contribute to the restoration of the Church and society.
