Ouagadougou: The "Kabo Infos" association donates equipment worth over one million FCFA to the Kabo Centre Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS). The 'Kabo Infos' association, bringing together the sons and daughters of the village of Kabo Centre, in the commune of Bind©, handed over on Sunday a large batch of equipment worth an estimated one million CFA francs to the local Health and Social Promotion Centre (CSPS), in order to contribute to the improvement of the provision of care.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation consists of cabinets, chairs, gloves, soap, and various sanitation supplies. The organizers stated that this reflects their commitment to supporting the government's efforts to strengthen the capacity of the primary healthcare center and improve patient care.
The donors' representative, Oumarou Compaor©, indicated that this initiative is part of a movement of solidarity and patriotism aimed at supporting development actions in their locality. He encouraged the sons and daughters of Kabo to continue their efforts for the well-being of the population.
Upon receiving the equipment, the head of the Kabo Centre Health and Social Promotion Centre (CSPS), Ousmane Sawadogo, thanked the donors. He emphasized that this support was very timely and would contribute to improving both the quality of care and the working conditions of healthcare staff.
For his part, the chief medical officer of the Manga health district, Inoussa Sawadogo, welcomed this contribution, which he described as important for strengthening the technical platform of the CSPS and improving the health services offered to the population.
The president of the special delegation of the commune of Bind©, Mamounata Congo, also praised this civic and patriotic gesture. She urged residents of other villages to take inspiration from this initiative in order to support the health infrastructure of their respective localities.
The handover ceremony took place in the presence of the Director General of Internal Security, Abou Bakar Compaor©, administrative, health, customary and religious authorities, as well as the local population. It ended with a tour of the various services of the CSPS, led by Major Ousmane Sawadogo, followed by a tree-planting session and blessings given by religious leaders.
