Kadiogo: The president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Saaba, Adolphe Athanase Thiombiano, officially launched the paving and drainage works around the central market of Saaba this Friday, at an estimated total cost of 133 million CFA francs, entirely financed by the municipal budget. The works cover a linear area of 450 meters with a width of 8 meters. They aim to reduce traffic accidents, improve sanitation in the living environment around the market, facilitate rainwater drainage, and optimize waste management.

According to Burkina Information Agency, PDS member Adolphe Athanase Thiombiano expressed his satisfaction at seeing the project officially begin. "This project is beneficial to us. It reflects the civic engagement and patriotism of the people of Saaba," he stated. Jacob Rouamba, representative of the company Paco BTP, indicated that the execution period is set at 75 days. "Everything is ready for the effective start-up. We are committed to delivering the infrastructure by December 31, 2025," he assured.

The works also include the construction of concrete shoulders and curbs. The chairman of the special delegation urged the company to respect deadlines and quality standards, while inviting the population to continue in the dynamic of civic-mindedness and patriotism for the development of the municipality.
