Kampti Authorities Advocate for Renewed Patriotism at Flag-Raising Ceremony

Kampti: The refounding of the Burkinabe nation-state necessarily involves a renewed commitment to patriotic values, a sense of duty and sacrifice for the Nation, declared the prefect and president of the special delegation (PDS) of Kampti, Massahiba Aim© Soulama, on the occasion of the monthly raising of the national colors organized on Monday in Galgouli, in the presence of civil society and local populations. The traditional flag-raising ceremony was held this Monday in the village of Galgouli, located approximately 25 kilometers from the main town of the Kampti commune.

According to Burkina Information Agency, presiding over the event, the prefect and president of the Kampti special delegation, Massahiba Aim© Soulama, urged the population to cultivate greater love of country and civic engagement. He emphasized that the challenges facing Burkina Faso demand exemplary behavior from every citizen, based on patriotism, responsibility, and solidarity. Mr. Soulama reiterated that building a strong and resilient state depends on the contribution of all the sons and daughters of the nation.

Mr. Soulama also welcomed the strong mobilization of the people of Galgouli and the vital forces of the commune around this republican activity, which contributes to strengthening living together and national unity. Speaking at the event, Jean Kambou, the director of the Galgouli A public primary school, expressed his gratitude to the municipal authorities for choosing his locality. 'It is a great honor for us and for all the people of Galgouli to receive the municipal authorities for this ceremony. Their presence demonstrates the attention given to localities far from the capital and strengthens our sense of belonging to the same community,' he said.

He also welcomed this initiative, which brings the administration closer to citizens and promotes a better understanding of republican values by grassroots populations. The ceremony brought together administrative, customary, and educational authorities, as well as many residents of Galgouli, who came to demonstrate their attachment to the symbols of the Nation.
