Kampti: The written examinations for the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC), 2026 session, were officially launched this Tuesday at the Kampti departmental high school by the prefect, president of the special delegation, Massahiba Aim© SOULAMA. A total of 591 candidates, divided between examination boards 1 and 2, are taking part in this exam, which grants access to higher secondary education.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the prefect, Massahiba Aim© SOULAMA, initiated the official commencement of the BEPC written tests at the departmental high school in Kampti. During the launch, he motivated the candidates to maintain serenity, discipline, and self-confidence to effectively showcase their hard work from the academic year in their exam papers.

Mr. SOULAMA emphasized the significance of the BEPC as a pivotal moment in the educational journey of the students. He encouraged them to tackle the exams with calmness and determination, assuring them that success is achievable through effort.

The president of jury 1, Mr. Yannick BADO, provided reassurance to the administrative authorities and parents about the measures implemented to ensure the smooth conduct of the exam. He stated that all necessary organizational and security arrangements are in place to facilitate a peaceful examination environment.

Mr. Bado highlighted that comprehensive measures have been adopted to ensure that the tests are conducted transparently, with discipline, and in compliance with the applicable regulations.

For the 2026 session, 591 candidates are registered in examination boards 1 and 2 in Kampti. They will attempt to obtain their first secondary school diploma after completing the various tests included in the program.
