The Provincial Coordination of Women of Kénédougou in partnership with the Association of Active Women for Women's Empowerment and Development and the Provincial Union of Cassava Processors, handed over on Friday, July 7 2023 a donation to High Commissioner Saïdou Sakira for the benefit of the National Defense and Security Forces and internally displaced persons.

It was during a sober ceremony at the house of the wife of Orodara that the symbolic delivery of this gift was made. Estimated at more than 6 million FCFA, this donation consists of 41 boxes of Gari for the benefit of the FDS at the national level and clothes for the internally displaced. Note that each box contains 100 kits.

For the provincial coordinator of women in Kénédougou, Bernadette Sanou, this donation is an expression of support for the State to deal with the unfortunate effects of the insecurity that our country is going through.

"It's a small gift but we think it will help relieve the FDS a little," she explained.

The High Commissioner of the province of Kénédougou Saïdou Sakira praised this women's initiative. On behalf of the beneficiaries, he conveyed his gratitude and recognition to them with this gesture.

Then, he reassured them that this donation will be passed on to whom it may concern. On occasion, the provincial coordination of the women of Kénédougou also gave gari kits to the children of the maternal hotel of Orodara.
