Kenedougou High Commissioner Emphasizes Values of Popular Progressive Revolution

Kenedougou: The High Commissioner of Kenedougou Province, Saidou Sakira, presided over the monthly flag-raising ceremony at the Orodara Gendarmerie Company, where he reiterated the values of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, and began with a welcome address by the commander of the gendarmerie company, Lieutenant Lassane Kafando. High Commissioner Saidou Sakira took the opportunity to remind participants of the foundations of the Popular Progressive Revolution, emphasizing the participation of the people as a key element for driving change.

Sakira stressed the importance of social justice, solidarity, and fairness as guiding principles for public action aimed at achieving shared progress. He highlighted that these values should be at the forefront of efforts to improve society.

In his address, Mr. Sakira called for the commitment of all individuals, especially the Defense and Security Forces, to safeguard the achievements and support the ongoing transformations within the country.
