Key Stakeholders Urged to Stay the Course and Cultivate a Spirit of Initiative

Ouagadougou: On the occasion of the traditional raising of the national colors at the High Commission of Djelgodji, the Secretary General of the province, Losseni Woni, urged public services to continue their efforts and to initiate concrete actions for the well-being of the people.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the courtyard of the High Commission in Djibo hosted the traditional flag-raising ceremony in the presence of administrative officials, public service employees, and key stakeholders from the province. In his address, the Secretary General of the province, Losseni Woni, representing the High Commissioner, commended the various services for their daily commitment despite the challenging circumstances. He encouraged them to maintain their momentum and remain steadfast in fulfilling their missions.

"We must all be agents of positive change for our communities," he declared, citing the staff of the Djibo health district as an example. They took the initiative to organize an operation to care for people at risk of blindness. Without extraordinary resources, they mobilized colleagues and former classmates to intervene and save a vulnerable segment of the population.

Thanks to this act of solidarity, several patients were treated and are currently recovering under the care of local healthcare workers. Mr. Woni welcomed this initiative, noting that "noble actions do not always require a budget, but rather selflessness and a sense of sacrifice." He called on everyone, in their respective fields, to sow this seed of dedication to build a more humane administration, closer to the people.
