Kindi: Citizen Watchdog Sweeps Through Public Services

Kindi: The Kindi-centre citizen watch sub-section organized a large-scale sanitation operation on Wednesday, affecting several public buildings in the municipality, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, despite the inclement weather, the mobilization made it possible to clean the town hall, the Prefect's residence, and the medical center. Members of the Kindi community watch group were undeterred by the bad weather this Wednesday morning. Men and women from the group turned out in large numbers for a "Clean Kindi" operation. Armed with brooms, rakes, and shovels, they tackled the town hall, the residence of the prefect (President of the Special Delegation), the medical center, and part of the central market.

The Prefect of the Kindi department, Yves Sanou, led by example by actively participating in the cleanup efforts. Through this gesture, the administrative authority sought to commend the commitment of the local population and reaffirm his support for this patriotic initiative.

The medical community welcomed the initiative with enthusiasm. Healthcare workers expressed their satisfaction at seeing their work environment cleaned up, which contributes to improving the quality of care for patients. "This mobilization demonstrates our commitment to the values ??of citizenship and solidarity," said one member of the organization.

The activity ended in a friendly atmosphere with refreshments, the result of voluntary contributions from the local population. The appointment has already been made in 21 days for a new sanitation operation which will target other public services in the locality.
