Ouagadougou: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of N'Dorola, Fatoumata Ou©draogo, presided on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) post over the solemn ceremony of raising the national colors.
According to Burkina Information Agency, after the raising of the national flag and the playing of the national anthem, the spokesperson for the VDP, Abdoulaye Traor©, welcomed the choice of their post to host the ceremony. He reiterated that respecting the national colors remains a civic duty and a symbol of attachment to the homeland.
PDS Fatoumata Ou©draogo, for her part, welcomed the mobilization of the populations and reaffirmed their support for the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the VDP. She paid tribute to the fighting forces for the sacrifices made in the fight against terrorism, while urging them to maintain their vigilance despite the lull observed in the commune.
