Abuja: The provincial organizing committee for the 2026 patriotic immersion convened a coordination meeting on Friday, July 24, 2026, in Orodara. The meeting, chaired by the High Commissioner of the K©n©dougou province, Sadou Sakira, aimed to assess the progress of preparations for welcoming the conscripts.
According to Burkina Information Agency, following the discussions, committee members conducted visits to various reception sites to observe the development work. The purpose of these visits was to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for the smooth execution of this patriotic activity.
This year's event will see the K©n©dougou province host 1,152 conscripts, comprising 593 boys and 559 girls. The conscripts will be accommodated at the Diongolo Traor© provincial high school and schools A and B in Orodara.
At the conclusion of the site visits, High Commissioner Sadou Sakira expressed satisfaction with the progress of the preparations. He noted that the work was advancing as anticipated, with final touches underway ahead of the conscripts' arrival.
Sakira urged all involved parties to sustain the current momentum until the immersion's launch, ensuring a functional, secure, and conducive environment for the participants throughout their stay.
