K©n©dougou: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Djigou¨ra, D¨ Millogo, officially launched the Primary School Certificate (CEP), entrance exams for sixth grade, and the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC) for the 2026 session this Tuesday. After the raising of the national flag at 7 a.m., the PDS opened the first envelopes containing the exam papers and offered his encouragement to the candidates. He urged them to remain calm, disciplined, and confident in their abilities in order to succeed in their exams while respecting the established rules.

According to Burkina Information Agency, for the CEP (Certificate of Primary Education), the Djigou¨ra Basic Education District (CEB) has 639 registered candidates, including 364 girls and 275 boys. At roll call, 631 candidates, including 363 girls and 268 boys, were actually present to take part in the exams at the Djigou¨ra "A", S©r©k©ni "A" and Soubagagn©dougou centers.

At the BEPC exam, the Djigou¨ra jury registered 266 candidates, including 163 girls and 103 boys. In total, 262 candidates, including 161 girls and 101 boys, were present in the six examination centers of Djigou¨ra, Dissanga, S©r©k©ni, Kouini, Diassaga and Soubagagn©dougou.

According to education officials, the first tests took place calmly and without major incident thanks to the mobilization of educational stakeholders and the measures taken to ensure the smooth running of these school exams.
