Komondjari: The High Commissioner of the Komondjari province, Valentin Gnanou, launched a campaign in Gayeri to distribute improved off-season seeds for vulnerable households. A total of 710 people, including internally displaced persons (IDPs) and their hosts, as well as breastfeeding women or mothers of malnourished children, will each benefit from these seeds.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this support is offered by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Burkina and includes seven varieties of seeds such as tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cabbages, chilies, onions, and salads. Mr. Gnanou stated that this initiative will contribute to improving the diet and income of beneficiary households.
He expressed appreciation for the ICRC's efforts and encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize the donations effectively.
