Kompienga Secretary General Encourages Diligence in Civic and Patriotic Education Training

Kompienga: The Secretary General of Kompienga Province, Issa Dabon©, representing the High Commissioner, has launched the Civic and Patriotic Education (CPE) activities at the Pama Provincial High School. During the event, he urged participants to maintain regular attendance throughout the training. The launch was attended by representatives of organizations, parents, educational authorities, and students.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the civic and patriotic education program serves as a continuation of the patriotic immersion program for high school graduates that occurred during the previous school break. Issa Dabon© highlighted the program's role in contributing to the restructuring of Burkina Faso's schools and the rebuilding of the nation's core values.

He expressed that this patriotic experience is expected to instill ideals of popular and progressive revolution in the younger generation, including values such as patriotism, citizenship, and solidarity.

Over 1,040 students are participating in these activities at the two operational schools in the province: Pama Provincial High School and Kompienga Departmental High School. The Secretary General emphasized the importance of regular attendance and expressed gratitude to the volunteer civilian and military instructors.
