Nayala: An association provides energy and communication equipment to the security forces to support their efforts to secure the area. The Konkoun Douin Association for the Development of Di¨r¨ and Surrounding Areas (AKDDE) handed over a donation of energy and communication equipment to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) in Toma on Sunday for the security of villages in the Nayala province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation consists of a power station comprising two 400-watt solar panels, two 200-amp batteries, two hybrid inverters, and 10 pairs of walkie-talkies to facilitate operational communication. The association also announced the ongoing installation of a Wi-Fi hotspot based on Starlink technology.
The donation was received by the High Commissioner of the Nayala province, Honor© Fr©deric Par©, for transmission to the relevant military units. He thanked AKDDE for its commitment and called for the mobilization of resources to further support the security forces and raise awareness among young people to strengthen resettlement efforts.
The fighting forces welcomed the initiative, believing that this donation meets real needs on the ground. According to the association's officials, this gesture aims to support efforts to secure and resettle populations.
Lieutenant Kouda, commander of the Mobile Intervention Unit (UMI), for his part, expressed his gratitude to the people of Di¨r¨ for this gesture, which he described as important for the accomplishment of their missions.
