Koosin: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the rural commune of Dokuy, Abdoul Ouahbidi Sibri 2 Guingane, paid a courtesy visit on January 30, 2026, to the chief of the canton of Dokuy, to present his greetings and to commend the mobilization of his delegation during the march-meeting of January 28, 2026 in Nouna.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the visit served both to exchange New Year's greetings and to acknowledge the significant delegation mobilized by the canton chief for the event in Nouna. The march-rally, organized by civil society, demonstrated solid support for the President of Burkina Faso.

The canton chief expressed gratitude to the President for the support and highlighted efforts towards the development of the commune. During the meeting, the canton chief also voiced concerns about returning the town hall to its original location, to which Abdoul Ouahbidi Sibri 2 Guingane responded with assurances of imminent plans to address the issue.

The visit concluded positively, strengthening local authority ties for the benefit of the commune.
