Korsimoro PDS Urges Community Support for RPP’s Progressive Momentum

Sandbontenga: The president of the special municipal delegation of Korsimoro, Moumouni Sodre, urged the population of his municipality on Monday to mobilize in support of the dynamic of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP), during the departmental ceremony of raising the national colors held in the village of Imiougou. 'We are not here this morning for a simple ceremony. We are here to reflect as Burkinabe citizens,' said PDS member Moumouni Sodre.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the departmental authority invited the population to mobilize in support of the dynamics of the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP). He also encouraged the servants of the people of the Korsimoro commune to redouble their efforts in order to contribute to the realization of the Head of State's vision.

The provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Sandbontenga, Barekebila Sawadogo, praised the resilience and commitment of the local teachers. He congratulated them for their dedication and their essential role in the formation of the "new type of Burkinabe," advocated by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. "Thanks to their efforts, encouraging results were recorded during the past school year," said Mr. Sawadogo.

Held in the village of Imiougou for the first time, this flag-raising ceremony was attended by administrative authorities, officials from decentralized services, defense and security forces, as well as teachers and students.
