Ouagadougou: The Kourittenga Province School and Vocational Guidance Days (JOSP) took place on July 17 and 18, 2026, in Koupla. The official launch was presided over by the High Commissioner of Kourittenga Province, Moctar Ilboudo, in the presence of local authorities, education stakeholders, partners, and new high school graduates.

According to Burkina Information Agency, for forty-eight hours, the communications focused on several areas including the operation and use of the Campus Faso platform, the criteria for choosing university courses, and job search techniques. The participants expressed their support for the themes discussed.

Wendtoin Laure Alida Daramkoum, a future student, testified to the direct impact of the sessions on her study project. "I obtained precise information on agronomy, the field I wish to pursue. This allowed me, from the first day, to convince my father who was initially opposed to this choice," she said.

The head of the specific support service at the provincial directorate of secondary education and vocational training in Kourittenga, Diabindo Madi¨ga, urged the baccalaureate graduates to put their acquired knowledge into practice to formulate their orientation wishes. He also announced the establishment of a support unit: guidance services remain available at Lyce Kourita, during all working days, to assist students facing technical or technical difficulties on the registration platforms.

She noted that participation in this program is now a prerequisite for university admission. She also clarified that the participants are now referred to as "the conscripts of compulsory patriotic immersion".
