Abuja: The President of the Special Delegation of the municipality of Gounghin, Fran§ois Janvier Lessogo, presided over a meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2026, in Gounghin with leaders of youth movements and associations to discuss the establishment of the municipal consultative youth council.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting brought together leaders from various youth movements and associations in the municipality. The participants exchanged information and were informed about the regulatory provisions governing the creation of the Municipal Youth Council, specifically the decree outlining the procedures for establishing the Municipal Consultative Youth Council.

The discussions concluded with participants expressing support for the process and appreciating the opportunity to understand many aspects better. They showed commitment and willingness to contribute to the successful establishment of the municipal youth advisory council in Gounghin.
