Kourittenta Municipal Consultation Framework Session Focuses on Stakeholder Mapping

Ouagadougou: The President of the Special Delegation of the municipality of Koupela, Moumouni Sagnon, presided over the first ordinary session of the Municipal Consultation Framework (CCCo) for the year 2026. This session, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, aimed to validate the provisional report on the mapping of stakeholders and interventions within the municipality.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the session received financial support from the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation (Enabel) and technical assistance from the Regional Directorate of Economy and Planning of Nakambe (DREP-Nakambe). The meeting facilitated the presentation of the provisional report on stakeholder mapping, collected observations and technical contributions, and aimed to complete the information regarding the actors and their intervention areas.

The CCCo seeks to enhance territorial governance by improving the coordination of development efforts within the municipal region. The session was attended by statutory members of the Framework, as well as members from the special delegation of the municipality, decentralized state technical services, NGOs, associations, and various projects and programs operating within the area.

Rock Parfait Ouedraogo, Head of Investment Monitoring at DREP-Nakambe, emphasized the importance of a partnership approach among stakeholders to ensure coordinated actions for the community's benefit. He noted that the mapping offers a comprehensive view of the involved actors and their intervention areas, facilitating an improved spatial distribution of interventions.

Moumouni Sagnon, President of the Special Delegation, expressed satisfaction with the level of participation and interest shown by actors in the discussions. He acknowledged the commitment of partners and local stakeholders and highlighted that the session's objectives were successfully met. Sagnon expressed hope for continued stakeholder contributions to support the regular convening of such forums and the exchange of ideas on development matters.
