La Côte d’Ivoire adopte une ordonnance pour encadrer les associations, dans un souci de sécurité

Ouagadougou: The Ivorian government adopted, this Friday in Abidjan, an ordinance to regulate the evolving associative world and in a context of the fight against crime, AIB learned from an Ivorian government source .The ordinance, adopted by the Council of Ministers this Friday, 'aims to best regulate the multiplication of the number and new forms of associations and to bring their organizational and operating methods into consistency, in a diligent manner, with the current requirements of the fight against transnational organized crime', according to the minutes of the Council of Ministers.'This order takes into account new forms of associations, such as religious associations, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Foundations. It determines, in addition to their organizational and operating methods, their creation, financing and control methods,' details the document.The new text which has just been adopted replaces a 1960 law relating to associationsSource: Burkina Information Agency
