The High Commissioner of the province of Léraba, Mahamadi Congo, chaired on Thursday March 7, 2024 in Sindou, the ceremony of 'act 14' of the solemn raising of the flag at the direction Provincial Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism (DPCAT).With the aim of promoting and consolidating the spirit of citizenship and patriotism through the observation of citizen attitudes towards the symbols of the State, the first authorities of Léraba, in the Cascades region, initiated the solemn and rotating raising of the flag in the public structures and services of the province.Launched on June 9, 2022 within the premises of the Léraba High Commission, the provincial directorate in charge of Culture is the 14th public service which has just honored this tradition this Thursday, March 7, 2024 in Sindou.The High Commissioner of Léraba province, Mahamadi Congo, said he was satisfied with the enthusiasm and mobilization of department heads or provincial structures to achieve the desired objective.While welcoming the i dea of this initiative, the Provincial Director in charge of Culture, Issiaka Konvolgo, passed the torch to the Provincial Director of Solidarity, Humanitarian Action, National Reconciliation, Gender and Family, Ousmane Ouédraogo.An appointment has been made for April 4 in the courtyard of the provincial directorate in charge of Solidarity.Source: Burkina Information Agency
