Lraba: The Secretary General of the L©raba Province, representing the High Commissioner, Y©onvi¨l Som©, officially installed Sabou Zalland Aboubacar Dao as provincial directors in charge of Youth and Sports in L©raba on Friday, June 27, 2025, in Sindou. They pledged to address the challenges that lie ahead in their new roles.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Sabou Zalland Aboubacar Dao were appointed during the Council of Ministers' sessions on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, and Wednesday, June 4, 2025, respectively. The installation ceremony was conducted by Y©onvi¨l Som©, the secretary general of L©raba Province.

Mr. Dao, who has a Bac D, a DEUG-II, and a CAP-EPS, previously served as the regional head of regulations, infrastructure, and statistics at Cascades from 2016 to 2019. From 2019 to 2025, he was the provincial director in charge of Sports in L©raba, a position to which he has now been reappointed.

Sabou Zall©, holding a degree in modern literature, is experienced as an employment and vocational training advisor. From 2014 to 2020, he assisted in the vocational training department in the Cascades region. After graduating with a cycle A diploma from ENAM in 2022, he headed the professional integration and employment department and served as an agent in the vocational training department in 2023.

Outgoing provincial director in charge of Youth, Adama Conf©, emphasized the importance of establishing strong relationships with youth and provincial authorities to organize large-scale activities. The newly installed directors expressed gratitude to the authorities for their trust and committed to overcoming the forthcoming challenges.

Y©onvi¨l Somcongratulated the directors and, on behalf of the High Commissioner of the province, assured them of support and collaboration whenever necessary.
