Present in the Nigerien capital for the first summit of the member countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE had direct exchanges yesterday, Friday July 5, with the Burkinabè living in Niger .The Burkinabè community living in Niger was strongly mobilized for this meeting with the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE. Thus, during the discussions, the participants congratulated the Head of State for the ongoing work of regaining the integrity of the country. They indeed welcomed the victories acquired on the front of the fight against terrorism.In view of the endogenous development actions initiated for the economic recovery of their motherland, the Burkinabè living in Niger congratulated the Captain and his government. 'You are the significant return of Thomas Sankara (…) and you will finish this work begun for the liberation of Burkina Faso and Africa,' declared Emmanuel DARANKOUM.Showing his availability to support Burkina Faso in its current f ight, Mr. DARANKOUM added: 'Mr. President, do not be afraid. We have all the skills to support you.'The Burkinabè living in Niger have also raised concerns with the President of Faso. These include, among other things, the return of security and peace to Burkina Faso, the security of the roads connecting the two countries and the socio-professional integration of students.The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, said he was honored by this mobilization of his compatriots from Niger. In doing so, he reaffirmed his commitment to meeting the challenges before him.He recalled his vision and the missions of the Transition, the outcome of which is the real independence of Burkina Faso, of the member countries of the AES and therefore of Africa. 'We have taken a route, and we are moving forward. This is now real independence, the battle has only just begun,' he stressed. This battle is being fought on the diplomatic, economic, communicational, cultural and political levels.On the issue of the fight aga inst terrorism, President Ibrahim TRAORE enlightened his fellow citizens living in Niger, lifting the veil on the clear intention of certain media in the service of the enemy who very often distort the information.According to the Head of State, Burkina has enough natural resources to boost its development. He advocates endogenous development whose wealth is shared between the daughters and sons of the country.
