President Traoré becomes ‘Angel in Chief’ of Burkina

Ouagadougou: The Fasokooz civil society movement made its first 2024-2025 patriotic return on Saturday, during which the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, was elevated to the rank of leader of the Allies of the new generation (ANGe) of Burkina Faso.'Captain Ibrahim Traoré embodies the generational leadership long awaited by the Burkinabè people through his political orientation, his frank and direct speech, his determination to put an end to terrorism and his policy of rupture,' declared Fasokooz spokesperson Labidi Naba, before awarding the distinction to the President of Faso.Mr. Naba spoke on Saturday July 6, 2024 in Ouagadougou during the official launch of the 2024-2025 patriotic start of the Movement for the Cause of Faso (Fasokooz).According to the movement's spokesperson, through this patriotic return, Fasokooz intends, through actions on the ground, to provide support to Captain Traoré in whom the Forces vives de la nation renewed their confidence on May 25, 2024 by extending his 5 yea r term.Furthermore, this event is an opportunity to raise awareness among young people of the values ??of dignity, integrity, work, solidarity and patriotism, advocated by Fasokooz, indicated the representative of the civil society movement.During this school year, young Burkinabè people and even some adults will be trained for trades, added Labidi Naba.The Minister in charge of Youth, Dr Boubakar Savadogo, indicated for his part that this Fasokooz initiative is grandiose, because, he believes, at a given moment, 'youth must be able to be educated by their peers ".For the head of the department in charge of Youth, this training by peers (friends, neighbors, etc.) will bring to life the patriotic spirit in Burkina, a spirit which was imprinted by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, since coming to power.Fasokooz is a civil society movement which campaigns for the advent of a new Burkinabè society with a political-state organization and a democracy adapted to the socio-cultural realities of the country.Source: Burkina Information Agency
