More than 100 Bags of Blood Collected for Fighting Forces in Bittou

Bittou: More than 100 bags of blood were collected in a recent mobilization event aimed at supporting the nation's Fighting Forces. The event saw participation from administrative authorities, traditional and religious leaders, as well as various civil society organizations, all uniting to show solidarity with soldiers committed to national defense.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Tampougo Kani Lohissi, a nursing and obstetrics engineer specializing in hemobiology at the Fada Regional Blood Transfusion Center (CRTS), expressed satisfaction with the initiative's reception and enthusiasm. Lohissi acknowledged the organizers' dedication, highlighting that the collected blood will help address the recurring shortages faced by health centers.

Pastor Pascal Koudougou set an example by being among the first donors from the early hours of the morning. He encouraged different communities to contribute to surpassing the collection goals, thereby saving more lives.

The president of the special delegation of Bittou, Mohamed Lamine Diabat©, along with members of the special delegation, security officials, and the Chief Medical Officer of the district (MCD) of the CMA of Bittou, praised this civic action. He urged the community to enhance development and solidarity efforts to promote peace and social cohesion.
