Ouagadougou: The Movement the Patriots of Yaadga (MPY) held a press conference to condemn foreign interference in Burkina Faso's affairs and to affirm its dedication to the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP), as reported by AIB.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was organized by MPY and attended by its members and supporters. The movement's spokesperson, Amidou Ganam, articulated the purpose of the conference: to strongly denounce external meddling in Burkina Faso's internal matters, reiterate their commitment to the RPP, and express solidarity with the people and defense forces of the African Economic Space (AES).

The MPY declared, "The history of Burkina Faso is no longer written in the offices of foreign powers. Our sovereignty is neither negotiable nor transferable. It belongs exclusively to our people." This statement underscores the movement's firm stance on maintaining Burkina Faso's independence and self-determination.

During the conference, speakers emphasized the necessity of voicing their concerns, asserting that their message represents a collective patriotic consciousness rather than the opinion of an individual or a political party. They stressed, "Our voice is not that of an individual, a political party or an isolated organization, but the expression of a patriotic consciousness, that of a people who now refuse to have their destiny interpreted, directed or decided by others."

Issouf Oudraogo "kitoko," a founding member of the MPY and a member of parliament for the ALP, highlighted several initiatives aimed at the development of the Yaadga region. These efforts align with the vision of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, and aim to ensure the successful implementation of the movement's objectives.

As part of its ongoing activities, the MPY has organized press conferences, published materials, co-hosted meetings, participated in reforestation projects, and conducted fundraising campaigns to support patriotic endeavors.
