Ouagadougou: About fifty students who were winners of the 2026 Olympiads in mathematics and physics-chemistry, accompanied by their supervisors and the Head of Mission at the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal and Fisheries Resources (MARAH), comrade Idrissa Oudraogo, made a visit to discover the potential of the Nakamb Agropole. This initiative aims to bring young people closer to the realities on the ground, to inspire vocations and to introduce them to opportunities in the agricultural, forestry, pastoral, and fishing sectors.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the delegation toured several notable sites of the Agropole, including the Bagr hydroelectric dam, the Fish Farming Centre (CEP), the rice plain, and the Ecotourism Centre (CET). By opening its doors to this scientific elite, the Agropoles Management Company (SOFA) reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the economic development and food sovereignty of Burkina Faso.
