Municipality of Douroula Mobilizes for Paving Work in D©dougou

D©dougou:Representatives from Douroula's villages and various social groups gathered on Monday, September 28, 2026, to assist with paving work at the Faso Mªbo site in D©dougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative was organized in response to a call from Maxime Y. Bakouan, the President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Douroula. The collective effort aimed to support Burkina Faso's development through infrastructure improvements.

Maxime Y. Bakouan emphasized that this mobilization is a testament to the people's commitment to national development. He expressed pride in contributing to the nation's progress and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in enhancing D©dougou's urban spaces.

Oumarou Soar©, chairman of the Douroula village development committee, echoed these sentiments, praising the initiative's role in advancing the country's development and expressing hopes for the project's expansion and the return of peace to Burkina Faso.

Youth participation was also significant, with Amidou Kot©, the coordinator of citizen monitoring in Douroula, reaffirming the youth's support for development projects. He advocated for extending Faso Mªbo's efforts to other municipalities.

Women's representative S©r©p© Maminata called for unity among the people of Burkina Faso and Africa, offering prayers for the nation's leaders.

Gnami Tiaho, the chief paving technician at the site, commended the Douroula delegation for their effective work, noting the project's completion ahead of schedule. Maxime Y. Bakouan expressed gratitude for the strong turnout, particularly from women, and encouraged continued support for future Faso Mªbo activities.
