Muslim Worshippers in Yaba Pray for Peace and Social Cohesion in Burkina Faso

Yaba: Muslim worshippers in the city of Yaba celebrated Eid al-Fitr on Friday, marking the end of the 30 days of Ramadan fasting. On this occasion, they prayed to Allah for peace and social cohesion in Burkina Faso.

According to Burkina Information Agency, in his sermon, Imam Mohamed Par e Mohamed called on the faithful to forgive, to be tolerant, and to live together. He also urged them to strengthen ties with other religious communities in order to consolidate peace in the commune of Yaba and throughout the country.

Imam Par e also encouraged sharing meals with people of different faiths, in a spirit of solidarity and brotherhood, during this festive period.
