Boussouma:The chief of the canton of Diguila, Naaba Koom II, visited His Majesty Naaba Sigri, Dima of Boussouma, on Saturday to express his gratitude and seek blessings at the beginning of his reign.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Naaba Koom II, who was installed on June 27, 2026, by the Dima of Boussouma, led a large delegation of dignitaries, young people, and residents from Diguila to pay homage and renew his allegiance to the Dima.

The dignitaries of Diguila stated that the visit, adhering to tradition, demonstrated the new chief's gratitude to the Dima, who had entrusted him with the leadership of the canton. Issaka Oudraogo, an elder from the Diguila palace, explained, "It is a tradition and it is proper that one who has benefited from the trust of a benefactor always returns to him with gratitude."

During the visit, Naaba Koom II also sought the blessings and support of the Dima for a reign characterized by peace, social cohesion, and unity. Adama Oudraogo, a representative of the youth, expressed pride in accompanying their chief, highlighting their commitment to supporting him in his mission to serve the people while respecting customs and traditions.
