Nahouri: The High Commissioner of the Nahouri province, Si© Aristide Mohamed Kam, inaugurated the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) 2026 session's first tests at the provincial high school. He emphasized the importance of honesty, urging candidates to avoid cheating and focus on their knowledge.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the BEPC session saw participation from 2,862 candidates from Nahouri, comprising 1,553 girls and 1,309 boys, who commenced their written tests at the provincial high school in P´. The event was organized across two juries at this location.

High Commissioner Kam, along with Ilassa Dianda, President of the special delegation of the commune of P´, and Malick Simpor©, the provincial director of secondary education and vocational and technical training of Nahouri, were present to offer guidance and encouragement to the candidates.

The provincial authority emphasized the importance of academic integrity, stating, "Avoid cheating, reproduce what you learned in class, we trust you, because we want to exceed the rate of 42% and occupy first place at the regional level."

According to the provincial director, the examinations are proceeding smoothly across the province's 10 juries. The number of candidates for the Vocational Studies Certificate (BEP) and the Vocational Aptitude Certificate (CAP) has also increased, with 167 candidates this year compared to 134 in 2025.

The overall number of candidates has risen from the previous session's 2,518 candidates, indicating a growing interest in the BEPC examinations in Nahouri.
