Nahouri: The commander of the Georges Namoano Military Academy, Williams Baguéra and the High Commissioner of the Nahouri province, Auguste Kinda, launched a series of activities on April 6, 2024 in Pô. as part of the official outing of active student officers of the 23rd promotion of the Georges Namoano military academy in Pô, chaired by the Burkinabè Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré.It was with a popular cross that the High Commissioner of the Nahouri province, Auguste Kinda and the Commander of the Georges Namoano Military Academy, Battalion Chief Williams Baguéra, launched the activities within the framework of the official outing of the 23rd promotion of active cadet officers from the said academy.While waiting for the official date of the graduation ceremony for the 23rd promotion which will be chaired by the Head of State, a series of activities is organized to honor these young officers.In addition to the popular cross country marking the official launch of activities, days of community ser vice in public services and places, a maracana football tournament whose final is scheduled for April 13, 2024, a donation of blood at the CMA of Pô, an inter-corps military competition and board games.For the Commander of the Georges Namoano Military Academy, Williams Baguéra, these activities aim to break down the barriers between the populations and the Defense and Security Forces of the Pô garrison.They also aim to raise awareness among the populations so that they support the fighting forces engaged in the reconquest of the national territory.The High Commissioner of the Nahouri province, Auguste Kinda, welcomed the strong mobilization of the populations of the commune of Pô around the defense and security forces.For him, this demonstrates the good collaboration between the populations and FDS of the Pô garrison.Kinda also invited the populations to mobilize behind the AMGN for the rest of the activities.Source: Burkina Information Agency
