Nahouri: The first edition of the "Uniting to Succeed" cup in L´, located in the commune of Ti©b©l©, concluded with the "Les panth¨res de L´" team emerging as champions. They claimed victory over "Doulnia FC" with a score of 3 goals to 2 on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this inaugural event was organized by the youth of L´, aiming to foster camaraderie among 11 teams within the commune through football. The final match, marked by the triumph of "Les panth¨res de L´," ended with a thrilling penalty shootout, securing their win over "Doulnia FC."

The victorious team was awarded the trophy, along with a set of jerseys, balls, and a financial prize of 75,000 FCFA. Meanwhile, the runner-up, "Doulnia FC," received a consolation package that included jerseys, balls, and a financial reward of 50,000 FCFA. Teams finishing in third and fourth places were also recognized and rewarded for their efforts.

Romain Abouga Koudana, a member of the organizing committee, stated that the competition was designed to unite the people of L´ and the wider Ti©b©l© community, promoting collective efforts towards local development. Mr. Koudana highlighted the emphasis on civic participation and patriotic commitment during the event.

The tournament was sponsored by Basile Tangonhir© Babouepoa, a notable figure from the locality, and was attended by several dignitaries. The organizers expressed their satisfaction with the high level of engagement and enthusiasm displayed by the community.
