Nando’s Education Director Urges Professionalism and Presence Among Educators

Sapouy:Ziro The Regional Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education (DREPPNF) for Nando, Abilass Rouamba, convened with education stakeholders in Ziro Province on Monday, September 21, 2026, in Sapouy. The meeting was part of a routine tour to prepare for the upcoming academic year, focusing on assessing the administrative start of the school year and addressing concerns from education stakeholders.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the regional director praised the educational community in Ziro for their achievements in the past school year. He emphasized the necessity for staff to be present and engaged at their workstations, encouraging open dialogue in various situations. Rouamba also urged educational leaders to uphold professionalism, rigor, and administrative skills.

The gathering included the Provincial Director of Education of Ziro, heads of basic education districts, service heads, directors of educational structures in Sapouy, and social partners. During discussions, Rouamba addressed participants' concerns and offered guidance to enhance the education system's operations in the province.

Rouamba highlighted the significance of bilingual education, stating its critical role in fostering national sovereignty by declaring, "Sovereignty is first and foremost linguistic."

In his closing remarks, the regional director urged education stakeholders to pursue excellence, reminding them of the evolving context of Results-Based Management (RBM) in the education system.
