Nanoro: AEEMB Celebrates Its 40th Anniversary with a Provincial Islamic Training Seminar

Nanoro: AEEMB celebrated its 40th anniversary from March 22 to 26 with a provincial Islamic training seminar, AIB observed. Coming from Ouagadougou and Koudougou, the speakers and missionaries took stock of the activities of the AEEMB since January 21, 1986, the date of its creation, and outlined prospects for better revitalizing the association for the well-being of the faithful.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during these four days of training under the theme "AEEMB, 40 years of existence in the service of the nation: assessment and perspectives", the seminarians, coming from all walks of life in the commune of Nanoro and from within the country, received rich and significant teachings to strengthen their faith, a guarantee of unity and solidarity among the Burkinabe.

The chairman of the organizing committee for the Boulkiemde 2026 seminar, Moussa Tamboura, stated that the AEEMB's record is very positive in view of the fact that it has trained competent and loyal executives, activists and personalities in all services who serve the nation with dignity.

'I ask the faithful and believers in Islam and in other religious faiths to be in solidarity and united around the same interest, which is the return of peace to the country. We congratulate and encourage our authorities and our security forces for the fight undertaken and we pray that God blesses them and accompanies them in their daily struggle,' he wished.

The representative of the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Nanoro, Seydou Kondombo, after the initial greetings, welcomed the seminarians and wished them a pleasant stay and a successful seminar. He expressed his immense pride in welcoming them to Nanoro.

"I wish all seminars and participants a very pleasant stay, may Allah be with you and accompany you, I ask you to include the return of peace to Burkina Faso in your daily prayers," he asked.

Samiratou Tinta, a student activist and participant, appreciates the seminar for what it is and hopes it will be a place to strengthen her faith. "Love, peace, security, and social cohesion are my fervent wishes for Burkina Faso," she said.
