Johannesburg: The population is strongly mobilized for the rehabilitation of regional road no. 13 and rural tracks. The populations of the different villages of the commune of Nanoro mobilized in large numbers on Saturday, August 22, around the community interest works which consisted of the rehabilitation of regional road no. 13 which links Bouss-Nanoro-Soum and the strategic rural tracks, AIB observed on site.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in the morning, the people went out with tricycles, trucks, tools and many other materials needed for the task, with a single objective: to fill in the ravines, close the ditches caused by runoff water and the holes likely to cause accidents in order to make traffic flow smoothly and facilitate the movement of goods and people.
Today's event was attended by several village, administrative and regional authorities who came to participate, encourage and guide the people in their noble and useful work. Desir Kondombo, the event's initiator and president of the Nanoro merchants' association, expressed his satisfaction to the community for their interest in the project, while also thanking the authorities and everyone involved in the event's success. He further urged the community to remain committed to all projects contributing to Nanoro's development.
Nourou Guiguimd, Prefect/PDS, and his delegation, who came to lend a hand, proudly commended the enthusiasm shown by the community for their work and their commitment to community projects. He urged them to develop similar initiatives that contribute to the development of the locality and expressed his readiness to support them in such endeavors.
Souleymane Tingueri, provincial director of the Ministry of National Development, responding to the prefect's call, expressed his amazement at the mobilization of local residents, whom he greeted with enthusiasm and pride. He promised the community that he would support them with a technical team for future large-scale projects, which are in line with the priorities of the highest authorities in our country.
