Nanoro: The vital forces of the commune of Nanoro mobilized strongly on Thursday, March 26, on the occasion of the launch of the 3rd edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) which urges the prioritization of local dishes in eating habits.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the official ceremony, held at the Nanoro Territorial Gendarmerie Brigade, was themed: "Let's produce Burkinab¨, let's consume Burkinab¨: our plate, our pride!" Presided over by the Prefect of the Nanoro department, Nourou Guiguemd©, the ceremony was marked by a military parade conducted by the national gendarmerie, followed by a solemn raising of the flag. This sequence concluded with the reading of the Head of State's message to the nation.

In his address, Prefect Nourou Guiguemd© urged all stakeholders to cultivate rigor, a sense of sacrifice, and responsibility in their work. He emphasized the imperative of improved collaboration among the various actors and the strengthening of social cohesion, essential elements for local development.

Finally, he called upon the population to embrace the message of the President of Burkina Faso by actively encouraging the production and consumption of local products, true drivers of sovereignty.
