National Colors Raised in Gnonyora as Kampti Residents Mobilize for Peace Effort

Kampti: In an atmosphere of patriotic fervor, authorities, uniformed personnel, and local residents took part this Monday in the traditional raising of the national colors at the Gnonyora customs post, sector 1 of Kampti, a commune located in the Dj´r´ region. A strong gesture: the residents made a symbolic contribution to the peace effort.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this Monday morning, the Gnonyora customs post, sector 1 of the commune of Kampti, in the Dj´r´ region, hosted a ceremony to raise the national flag. The solemn event brought together administrative authorities, uniformed personnel, and the population around the values of national unity and civic engagement.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Massaba Aim© Soulama, Prefect and President of the Kampti Special Delegation. In his speech, he recalled the symbolic significance of this gesture, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and solidarity in a still-delicate security context. He praised the mobilization of the defense and security forces, while expressing his gratitude to the local population for their continued support.

The head of the customs post, who was unable to attend for official reasons, was represented by Lieutenant Seydou Ouattara. On behalf of his superiors, he conveyed a message of thanks to all the personnel present and emphasized the Customs' commitment to continuing its mission in close collaboration with other security actors and the population.

A highlight of the ceremony was the donation by the residents of Gnonyora to the national peace effort, an initiative hailed by the authorities as an example of active patriotism.

This moment of communion ended in a spirit of fraternity and collective responsibility, illustrating the shared desire of the people of Kampti to contribute to the stability and development of Burkina Faso.
