Seno: The new heads of the basic education districts (CCEB) of Sampelga and Seytenga, Abdoulaye Amadou Bokoum and Pierre Ouedraogo, were officially installed in their functions on Tuesday in Dori. The installation ceremony, presided over by the president of the special municipal delegation of Sampelga, Inoussa Tao, took place in the presence of colleagues, friends, and educational officials.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Inspector Abdoulaye Amadou Bokoum has taken the reins of the CEB of Sampelga, replacing Yacouba Sawadogo, while Pierre Ouedraogo succeeds Moussa Hamidou in Seytenga. The graduating CCEBs expressed their deep gratitude to their superiors, administrative authorities, and educational stakeholders for their constant support. They recalled that this support was crucial in reopening the Sampelga and Seytenga primary schools, which had been closed for a long time due to insecurity. To date, more than three thousand students have been re-enrolled there, a major step forward for the region, they stated.
The representative of the provincial director of Basic Education and Non-Formal Education of Seno, Salif Rabo, praised the important work done by the officials who came out for the benefit of the educational world and the nation. He also congratulated the new CCEBs on their appointment and invited them to consolidate the gains in a still fragile security context.
The president of the special delegation of the commune of Sampelga, Inoussa Tao, praised the sense of duty and sacrifice of the outgoing officials and assured the new CCEBs of the permanent support of the local administration. Aware of the magnitude of the challenges, the new heads of the CEBs of Sampelga and Seytenga expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them. They called for the mobilization of all stakeholders in order to continue the efforts undertaken and to ensure educational continuity in their respective areas.
The new CCEBs of Sampelga and Seytenga, Abdoulaye Amadou Bokoum and Pierre Ouedraogo, were appointed on November 12, 2025, by order of the Minister of Basic Education, Non-Formal Education and Promotion of National Languages (MEBAPLN).
