Ouagadougou: The Provincial Director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training (DPESFPT) of Sangui©, Rasmata Grace Guingan©, officially installed new heads for the Baogn¨ and Ninion General Education Colleges (CEG) on Wednesday, July 22.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the newly appointed leaders are Basson Bazongo and Bakor© Badiel, taking over from P©lagie Bationo and Hardjouma N’Do, who served as interim heads at Baogn¨ and Ninion CEGs, respectively. The installation ceremony was attended by members of the education sector and collaborators from the concerned institutions.
During the ceremony, the Provincial Director acknowledged the efforts of the outgoing officials and expressed gratitude for their dedication to education and training. She urged the new principals to conduct their duties with responsibility, rigor, and integrity, emphasizing the importance of transparency and prudent resource management.
Comrade Guingan© highlighted the crucial role of school principals in implementing educational policies and achieving departmental quality objectives. The new leaders, in response, expressed their gratitude for the trust bestowed upon them and committed to working collaboratively with all education stakeholders.
This leadership change is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the governance of educational structures and improve teaching quality in Sangui© Province.
