New Leadership Assumes Role at Citizen Watch Association in Teoga

Teoga: The new office of the Citizen Watch Association of Teoga, a locality on the outskirts of Koudougou, was officially inaugurated on Saturday, July 4, during a solemn ceremony that also featured the unveiling of a roundabout constructed by the association.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event's highlight was the presentation of the flag to the president of the new Teoga office by Moussa Zongo, president of the Koudougou Citizen Watch Association. This symbolic gesture represented the new leaders' commitment to fostering civic responsibility, enhancing social cohesion, and spearheading local development. The ceremony witnessed a significant turnout from the residents of Teoga, showcasing strong local support for this civic endeavor. Among the dignitaries in attendance were Alassane Zoubga, president of the CNAVC of Boulkiemde; traditional and religious authorities; citizen watch leaders; sponsors; and numerous guests of honor.

Ibrahim Bonkoungou, representing the ceremony's sponsor, Pema Neya (Special Advisor), emphasized the significance of this initiative. He encouraged the new board members to continue their efforts, highlighting the critical role they play in improving quality of life and promoting active citizen involvement in local matters.
