Kouka:The municipality of Kouka has inaugurated a new livestock park, built on 2.5 hectares at a cost of 150 million FCFA. This project was financed by the Regional Project to Support Pastoralism in the Sahel, phase 2 (PRAPS2-BF).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the commissioning ceremony took place on Friday, September 25, 2026, and was led by Raymond Ilboudo, the president of the special delegation of Kouka. The event was attended by customary and religious authorities, municipal livestock agents, members of the livestock market management committee, and the local population.

Ilboudo also called on the management committee to uphold responsibility and transparency to support livestock farming and market activities effectively.

He thanked PRAPS2-BF and the Kouka town hall for their efforts and assured that the committee would oversee its efficient operation. Sangar© also urged users to adhere to the park's rules and maintain the provided equipment.
