Sourou: The new president of the school board of the provincial high school of Tougan, Abel Zerbo, has pledged to work with transparency and integrity to contribute to the school's progress. The Tougan Provincial High School (LPT) established its school council on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the establishment of the school council office took place under the supervision of the principal of the high school, Daouda Banazaro, and under the guidance of the electoral committee chaired by the censor, Oumarou Ouedraogo. A thirteen-member bureau was formed, in addition to three people appointed to form the control bureau.
The new chairman of the school council, Abel Zerbo, expressed his willingness to collaborate closely with all members of the council and all stakeholders in the educational community. He emphasized working with sincerity, loyalty, and honesty to advance the institution, aiming to rank among the best in the region and the country.
Zerbo highlighted that the office is a representation of all actors, and its success will rely on the contribution of each member to achieve the set objectives. Headmaster Daouda Banazaro welcomed the establishment of the board, describing it as a requirement according to the regulations governing the operation of schools. He congratulated the new members and reaffirmed his willingness to support them in their mission.
