New Provincial Director of Secondary Education in Banwa Pledges to Lead with Humility

Banwa: The new provincial director of secondary education, vocational and technical training for Banwa, Sibada, known as Sianta Youmou, officially assumed his role on Friday afternoon during a handover ceremony with his predecessor, Nathan Traor©, who served for seven years.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by directors, department heads, educational partners, staff, and school leaders. Sibada, appointed by the Council of Ministers on April 3, expressed his commitment to work with humility, perseverance, and dedication to meet the set objectives. "If we are lucky or unlucky enough to replace a hard worker, it takes self-sacrifice to equal or do better than the person," he stated. "I believe that together we can move mountains. I ask for your support to achieve the assigned objectives."

Abdoul Kader Kong Zabr©, Secretary General of Banwa Province, who presided over the ceremony, praised the outgoing director, Nathan Traor©, and encouraged the new director to maintain and expand upon the progress made. "You are inheriting a province with significant educational challenges, and the entire population is looking to you in terms of consolidating the achievements already made and implementing public policies in the education sector," Zabr© added, emphasizing the importance of guidance in the provincial leadership.
