Rising colors at the Presidency of Faso: the Head of State calls for more integrity and self-sacrifice

(Ouagadougou, November 6, 2023). The President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, presided over the raising of colors ceremony at the Koulouba Palace this Monday morning. On this occasion, he urged all workers to have greater dignity, integrity, self-sacrifice and above all solidarity with the Fighting Forces engaged in the reconquest of the territory.

For the Head of State, the national colors symbolize integrity, probity and a sense of sacrifice. “It's an honor to be reunited for this rise of colors for which we are ready to live or die. The Homeland left to us by our ancestors is not doing as well as we hope. But if this war is imposed on our generation, it is because we have the capacity. It is our duty to fight to give a better homeland to future generations,” declared Captain Ibrahim TRAORE who invited his collaborators to be models and to have intelligence of situations, especially in these times. “Those who have suggestions can send them to my office. We need all the ideas and all the intelligence,” he said.

According to the Head of State who announces that the Transition is taking a new turn, there will no longer be a question of letting bad behavior take over. “Individual freedoms do not take precedence over those of the Nation. “A Nation is not built through indiscipline and disorder,” he concluded.
